Sure, every woman wants to look irresistible on Valentines Day. But is it possible to look your best if you are not feeling your best? One’s derriere can look firm, with a little junk in the trunk, or it can look like all you have been doing is eating junk. With this big romantic day approaching, there is still time to incorporate some exercises in to your routine that will have you feeling fit and fabulous! You can have toned shoulders and arms to compliment that dress or cute top, a waistline providing a beautiful silhouette to any garment, and sexy legs to help you strut your stuff all evening long. Here are four exercises that will help you train and develop muscles in the upper and lower body.

Squat: Squats are an excellent exercise to target the quadriceps, glutes, hamstrings and core muscles. Begin with feet shoulder width apart. To start the movement, first shift your weight back onto the heels and push the hips back. Begin to bend the knees and lower the hips down into a squat until the top of the thighs are parallel to the floor. Keep the weight back on the heels so that the knees do not overshoot the toes. Also, remember to keep the chest up tall to prevent too much forward lean in the bottom of the squat. Push the body up through the heels, until the legs are straight and repeat. Perform 3 sets of 10 repetitions.
Push Ups: This exercise is great for the chest, triceps, shoulders and core muscles. Begin in a straight arm plank with arms shoulder width apart, and the wrists below the shoulders. The feet should be hip to shoulder width apart. Curl the hips under to maintain a flat lower back. Lower the chest to the floor keeping the body in a straight line. To protect the shoulders let the elbows track in closer to the ribs so they point back, not flare out to the sides. If this is too difficult perform a modified push up on the knees. Perform 5 sets of 5 repetitions.
